We’re proud to report that our recently finished Ph.D. student and current Assistant Professor at Sam Houston State University, Brian Jordan, was named a finalist for this year’s Pulitzer Prize in History. His prize-nominated book is entitled: Marching Home: Union Veterans and Their Unending Civil War (published by Liveright). While at Yale, Brian’s dissertation won the John Addison university-wide prize and the George W. Egleston Prize for best U.S. History dissertation at Yale. Congratulations Brian!
