Ed Rugemer’s ‘Slave Law and the Politics of Resistance in the Early Atlantic World’ wins Bentley Prize from the World History Association

Ed Rugemer’s recent book Slave Law and the Politics of Resistance in the Early Atlantic World has won the Jerry H. Bentley Book Prize from the World History Association.  

The World History Association Book Prize was created in 1999 to recognize outstanding contributions to the field of world history. In 2012, it was renamed in memory of Jerry H. Bentley and his significant contributions to the field of world history and the World History Association.
