Prof. Rosemarie Zagarri of George Mason University will present the 2016 Bosworth Memorial Lecture. This year’s talk is titled: “Liberty or Oppression: The Problem of Empire in Colonial British India and the Early American Republic” and will take place on Thursday, April 21st at 4:00pm in the Hall of Graduate Studies, Room 211.
The talk is generously supported by the Frank K. Bosworth, Jr. ‘45 fund, which sponsors a talk in the field of American history each year.
