Keith Wrightson has been elected president of the North American Conference on British Studies in recognition of his scholarly contributions in British history. His two-year term will begin in November at the NACBS meeting in Portland, Oregon. He has been vice president of the organization since November, 2011.
Carlos Eire was honored recently with the publication of A Linking of Heaven and Earth: Studies in Religious and Cultural History in Honor of Carlos M. N. Eire, edited by Emily Michelson, Scott K. Taylor, and Mary Noll Venables (Ashgate, 2012).
On Friday (Sept. 13), the library of the Stephan Kuttner Institute of Medieval Canon Law arrived at its new home in the Lillian Goldman Law Library. This weekend it is being installed in the Law Library’s Upper East Side, next to the fish tank.
