Members of the Department of History are involved in a number of colloquia, lunches, reading groups, and seminars. Usually held in conjunction with other programs, departments, and research centers at Yale, these groups are designed to bring together students, faculty and other interested individuals with shared research interests. Held throughout the academic year, many of these groups meet regularly, while others gather on a more occasional basis.
