Yale senior ready for life beyond campus as a foreign correspondent

During his time at Yale, senior Alexander Saeedy became enthralled with the study of modern European political and economic history, and believes that those scholarly interests will come in handy for him after he graduates in May.

In June, Saeedy will work as a foreign correspondent for the Reuters bureau in Brussels, Belgium, on an Overseas Press Club Foundation (OPC) Fellowship. He will cover financial and political topics for the news organization.

Annette Gordon-Reed & Peter Onuf present this year's annual Bosworth memorial talk

Prof. Annette Gordon-Reed of Harvard and Prof. Peter S. Onuf of the University of Virginia will present the 2015 Bosworth Memorial Lecture.  This year’s talk is titled: “Most Blessed of Patriots: The Worlds of Thomas Jefferson” and will take place on Wednesday, April 15th at 4:00pm in the Hall of Graduate Studies, Room 211. 

The talk is generously supported by the Frank K. Bosworth, Jr. ‘45 fund, which sponsors a talk in the field of American history each year.
