The Director of Undergraduate Studies Professor Ed Rugemer, and the Director of Graduate Studies Professor Paul Sabin would like to invite graduate students to apply to teach an undergraduate departmental seminar.  This is a wonderful opportunity to design, and direct your own course.
 
The deadline for your application is DATE.
 
Eligibility is open to all graduate students who will have become ABD by the time they teach, although preference is for fifth-and sixth-year students with substantial teaching experience.

David Blight has been awarded the Gold Medal for History from the American Academy of Arts and Letters

The American Academy of Arts and Letters has announced the recipients of its highest honors for excellence in the arts. Architect Peter Eisenman and historian David Blight have been awarded the Gold Medals for Architecture and History, respectively. Given each year in two rotating categories of the arts, the Gold Medal is awarded to those who have achieved eminence in an entire body of work.
