The Americas Before 1900 working group can be found at their new website: https://americasbefore1900.yale.edu/. The working group is designed to support the interdisciplinary study of the early Americas at Yale. Our remit is broad geographically (from the tip of Chile to the farthest reaches of Canada) and temporally (from before European colonization to 1900) in order to accommodate a more expansive view of the histories, cultures, peoples, and environments in the hemisphere. We will welcome a wide array of critical approaches and disciplines and encourage graduate students to participate.
