Denise Y. Ho named 1 of 21 public intellectuals by the National Committee on U.S-China Relations
Denise Y. Ho, Assistant Professor of History, was named one of twenty-one public intellectuals by the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations. As part of 21 fellows appointed to a two-year term funded by the Carnegie Corporation, Professor Ho will participate in workshops and programs designed to cultivate younger scholars to engage with policymaking communities and with the American public.

NY Times: Up From the Family Basement, a Little-Seen Hamilton Trove
Starting on Wednesday, Hamil-fans will be able to enjoy a double dose of America’s newly favorite founding father: a public exhibition of a trove of documents held privately for more than two centuries by descendants of Alexander Hamilton, in a display at Sotheby’s designed by David Korins, the set designer for the musical “Hamilton.”
