A newly launched website will serve as an online hub for the study of Japanese history at Yale, helping to disseminate information about related courses, events, resources, projects and people. Highlights include a list of Yale PhDs in the field (dating back to 1902!) and a newly digitized, interactive scroll from the Beinecke library, which has been the focus of recent work by an informal study group of grad students, postdocs, librarians and faculty.
