Nicolas Silva Silva
Bio:
Nicolás Silva Silva studies the history of the social sciences in Cold War Latin America. He focuses on the social sciences’ relation with radicalism in the Global Sixties—including dependency theory, the tricontinental travels of concepts across Africa-Asia-Latin America, ideas about agrarian reform, and the relation between theoretical and vernacular discourses.
He completed his undergrad in philosophy at the University of Chile. Later, he completed an M.A. in China Studies from Peking University as a Yenching Scholar.
