Bio:
Patience Neshiwa is a Ph.D. student in African History at Yale University. Her research interests include pre-colonial African History, modern African History, African environmental history particularly drought and drought management, and climate change.
Before coming to Yale, Patience earned her Bachelor’s degree in German and Economic History at the University of Zimbabwe. She did a Special Honors degree in Economic History and then M.A in African Economic History and Knowledge Systems also at the University of Zimbabwe. She worked as a teacher and a translator for the German language.
