David Blight to receive the Graduate Mentor Award

David Blight has been chosen to receive the Graduate Mentor Award for the Humanities at the Graduate School’s Convocation Ceremony the weekend before commencement.  The Graduate School honors faculty members at Convocation for their exemplary qualities as mentors. Many dissertation advisors are nominated, the honorees are chosen by a committee of students and faculty, in coordination with the Graduate Teaching Center.

Gerardo Con Diaz wins 2017 Herman E. Krooss Prize for Best Dissertation in Business History

Gerardo Con Diaz (Ph.D., 2016) won the Herman E. Krooss Prize for the best dissertation in business history awarded by the Business History Conference in Denver, CO this weekend at its annual meeting. The award honors the late Herman E. Krooss, professor of economics and chairman of the department of economics at the Graduate School of Business Administration of New York University and consists of a plaque and $500.
