David Brion Davis wins National Book Critics Circle Award for Nonfiction

Congratulations to Yale Sterling Professor of History Emeritus and Gilder Lehrman Center Founding Director David Brion Davis, who last night won the National Book Critics Circle Award for Nonfiction for The Problem of Slavery in the Age of Emancipation. This is an incredible achievement.
