Meenakshi A

Meenakshi is a PhD student in the Department of History. Her research interests include built environments in modern South Asia, and the intersections between infrastructures, environment, technologies, materials, labour and energy. Her current research looks at cement and concrete in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries through their engineering, industrial and mineral histories. She completed her MPhil and MA in Modern History at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University, and her undergraduate degree at Ambedkar University, Delhi.
